Film screening & facilitated discussion
The People's Emergency Briefing: a community screening at Night Pastures
The evidence on the climate and nature crisis, as presented to Westminster, brought to Haslemere for an evening of film and discussion.
In November 2025 the National Emergency Briefing brought nine leading experts together in Westminster to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people. The next step is to take that message out across the UK, and Night Pastures is hosting the Haslemere screening.
The film brings the evidence together in a single, accessible format: an unfiltered assessment of the threats to UK food supply, health and national security, and the positive, practical solutions that would strengthen our economy, resilience and quality of life.
The screening is followed by a facilitated discussion, using guidance from the National Emergency Briefing, so that those gathered can consider how to respond locally. We are inviting our MP, local councillors and journalists, so that the evidence is heard on the public record, here in the community it affects.
Seats are free. Spaces are limited, so please register, and bring a neighbour.

About the National Emergency Briefing
