Get together with family, colleagues or friends with our exclusive use Camp. What better way to reconnect than to take a few days away from the houses we've been chained to for the last year and stay in an exclusive hideaway. Old fashioned Enid Blyton style fun with no distractions from modern life... just what the doctor ordered!

The space

Fox Camp is in a secluded spot far away from all our other guests. It is very private, surrounded by 3,000 acres of farmland and woodland. Badger is completely self sufficient, having its own camp kitchen, undercover dining area, stone fire pit and bathrooms - all for the exclusive use of your group.

Guest access

Fox is located in the top left hand corner of our 26ha large yurt field. Parking is a short walk, accessed via a secret cut-through the woods. Wheelbarrows are provided to transport your gear from the car park to the site.

Neighborhood

Originally a hunting lodge for King Charles II, Lower Lodge Farm's 3,000 acres of rolling fields and ancient woodland are interlaced with ponds and brooks that feed the River Lod. Recognised as a corridor of environmental significance, it is home to a diverse collection of flora and fauna including; cuckoos, kingfishers, deer, badgers, rare orchids, mistletoe and, if you're lucky, even multicoloured rabbits. Amongst the farm's many treasures are woodland walks, streams bristling with fish, ancient woodland clearings and the ruins of an iron forge from the earliest days of the industrial revolution. To cap it all, amidst all this beauty is the privately owned 12th century Shulbrede Priory where Parry wrote the score for Jerusalem. From the comfort and tranquility of Badger Camp you too will share, understand, and be at one with the "green and pleasant land" that inspired the stirring music for Jerusalem, the nation's favorite hymn.

Getting around

Onsite parking is available to all guests and there are taxis at the Haslemere train station (48 mins from Waterloo) for guests arriving by train. There are some wonderful walking trails on the farm, some of which are circular routes to our local pubs! We are also just off the King Alfreds Way long distance off-road cycle path and have lots of off-road biking trails on site if you fancy bringing bikes.

Other things to note

Night Pastures Camping is on a working family farm so please supervise children and respect the Country Code at all times. If you're arriving by train, it's advisable to get your shopping done in advance, as nearest supermarket is 10 minutes drive. There are streams on both sides of the Night Pastures site so please be mindful of this if you are travelling with small children. There is no WiFi or electricity on site and to protect the experience for all, we have a strict 10pm curfew
